Minehead Middle School is committed to culture of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and we expect all members of staff and volunteers to share this commitment.
Our aim is to establish an environment where children feel safe and secure, where they are encouraged to talk, and are listened to when they have a worry, concern or want to share something. We follow our procedures to ensure children and young people receive effective support, protection and justice. Parents and carers may also contact us where they have concerns about the welfare or safety of their child. The Safeguarding Team work closely with the Pastoral Team to support our students and work with our families and external agencies where required.
