Minehead Middle School is committed to culture of safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all children and we expect all members of staff and volunteers to share this commitment.

 

Our aim is to establish an environment where children feel safe and secure, where they are encouraged to talk, and are listened to when they have a worry, concern or want to share something.  Parents and carers may also contact us where they have concerns about the welfare or safety of their child.  The Safeguarding Team work closely with the Pastoral Team to support our students and work with our families and external agencies where required.

 

We know that the online world can provide a wealth of information, education and entertainment but can at times be difficult to navigate safely.  If you are a parent/carer and would like some advice on how keeping your child safe online then please access the following links to some useful guides:
