If you would like your child to attend our school, please see full details of our admission arrangements below.
The Admissions Authority for the school is the Governing Body and they are responsible for taking all admission decisions for children transferring to us in Year 5 and for joining the school during the academic year.
Somerset County Council co-ordinates all admissions to Year 5, so if you are applying for a place in Year 5 in September 2020 click on the link at the bottom of the page to go the Council's website.
To apply for a Minehead Middle School place during the year, you will need to complete our School Admission Form and either post it to us or drop it into our school reception. We will then contact you to arrange an appointment for a tour of the school and a meeting with our Headteacher.
We hold an Open Evening for new and prospective parents during October. In addition, Year 4 children from our feeder First Schools pay us a half-day visit in the spring term, to help familiarise them with our school. We also hold 'New Parents' meetings for Year 4 parents from our feeder schools, early in the summer term.
